Open a PDF to analyse text
Choose Edit PDF text. On PC, click wording once to edit it directly. On iPad/tablet, tap once to select and tap again to edit.
V5.5: Normal edits stay on the PDF. The detailed replacement window is now an Advanced Edit fallback.

Select something to edit
Click text, an image or another object on the PDF. The controls here will change automatically.
Tips
Use Edit PDF text. On PC, click existing wording once to edit it directly. On iPad/tablet, tap once to select and tap again to edit.
Add text places a selected text box immediately on the current page. Move it first or double-click it to type.
Use the corner controls to resize or rotate selected objects.
Arrows nudge a selection; Shift + Arrow makes a larger move. Ctrl/Cmd+D duplicates.
Hold Shift while dragging to constrain movement. Smart guides snap to page and object alignment.
Drag page thumbnails to reorder pages.
Tick page checkboxes before using Extract selected.
